7th Nov - Emma Pollock and To Rococo Rot

Added on 01/11/08

Hello all
I'm playing a special one-off show at the lovely Carnegie Hall in Dumfermline, Fife with Emma Pollock and To Rococo Rot. Get there early as we're each playing two half sets - last person on also plays first.
I've toured with To Rococo Rot in the past with Fridge and I invited Emma Pollock to play Homefires a while a go - I recommend them both very highly. Emma and I are hopefully going to play a couple of tracks together - I'm very excited to see what happens.

Adem tour update - supports details and liverpool cancellation

Added on 16/09/08

Hello everybody, Adem here

I'm very disappointed to announce that the Liverpool show at the Static Gallery has been cancelled. I'm really gutted as I had a lovely time in Liverpool a few months back and was really looking forward to coming back. Many apologies.
If there are a lot of you who would come, mail me and maybe we can come up with an imaginative alternative?

It's with a much lighter heart, though, that I can announce some support details. Everyone playing is fantastic and I firmly recommend that you get there early, definitely before 8pm:

20th Gateshead : Mary Hampton and Beth Jeans Houghton
21st Glasgow : Mary Hampton and The French Wives
***
23rd London : Mary Hampton and The Paper Cinema
24th Manchester : Mary Hampton and Tim and Sam's Tim and the Sam Band with Tim and Sam
25th Bristol : Mary Hampton and OLO worms
26th Birmingham: Mary Hampton
27th Reading : Slow Club

See you soon!

All the best

Hello everyone

I'm very happy to announce that the excellent Mary Hampton will be supporting on a number of the dates (20th - 26th).
Her sparse accompaniment and beautiful and eerie voice are a compelling combination that entice and charm whilst sending chills throughout.

It also my great pleasure to introduce The Paper Cinema at the ICA show in London. A live cinema group that create films on the spot with a camera and tiny pieces of illustration - their attention to detail and sense of magic whisked me away from the first moment I saw them. Musical accompaniment provided by Kora.

18th 19 and 27th support to be confirmed.

I'm very excited -See you soon!

Thanks so much to everyone who came to the shows just passed and sorry to anyone who couldn't get in to the sold out London and Liverpool shows. The band and I had an amazing time and it was in no small part due to the audiences.
Massive thanks also to Nancy Elizabeth, Mechanical Bride and Laura Marling for excellent support; brilliant stuff.
Send me any pictures or footage you may have at info@adem.tv and I'll put it up in the gallery area.
More Shows announced very soon!

I was on Radio 1 the other night on the Rob da Bank show. It was fun and I played Slide and Everything you need. I'm afraid it happened while I was away so couldn't tell you about it in time, but I'm sure you could find it if you look hard enough.
