There are some more shows coming up. I’m really looking forward to them – check out the Live page for a complete run-down of them all. A big bunch of festivals and a special appearance with two of my favourite live acts of the moment – Animal Collective and Battles. Both are awesome. I’d have been in the audience anyway. See you there – Come say hi.

Firstly, a massive thankyou to all of you who came to the shows around the UK. The band and I all felt incredibly welcomed and privileged by the response you guys and gals out there gave us – a gig becomes a magical event. Huge respect and love to the band (more about them soon) and to Adrian Crowley (www.adriancrowley.com) for his consistently brilliant performances and being part of the team from the outset. We all came away feeling that something special had taken place and hope that you did too.
Thank you.

Hey all. I’m back. I’ve been so wrapped up in all that’s going on that I’ve totally neglected the site (along with my long suffering friends and family). I haven’t forgotten you though, and I was hoping we could start over. I’ve got lots to tell you and I’m sure you’ve been busy in my absence.

Hey all.
I'm getting pretty excited now - it's official, my second solo album 'Love and other planets' is finished! Much care has been taken to get it just right for you and I am now proud to tell you it will be out on the 24th April. It features 12 tracks and weighs in at just over 45 minutes (which I must say is a very good length for an album). Artwork again by the wonderful Lynn Hatzius. It looks great. It's another concept album. It's about space. And cosmic things. And people. Those of you that have seen me perform live recently will have had a sneak peek at a few of the tracks. The record features the particular talents of Emma Smith (Elysian Quartet, Screamer on the Hill) on the violin, Alex Thomas (Earl Shilton) on the drum kit (yup, drum kit) and the fantastic Emma Macfarlane on backing vocals. I look forward to you all hearing the lot. I know it's a fairly long time to wait, but I thought I'd let you know as soon as I was sure.
So:
Love and other planets. April 24. Can't wait.

Hey All, Adem here
I'm very pleased to let you know that alongside the release of Love and other planets in the UK, I shall be touring with full band at a number of venues. Particularly excited to be playing with Amina (London) and Vashti Bunyan (Leeds).
Details are on the live page, as usual.
I look forward to seeing you all. Please come and say Hi.

Hey all, I'm pleased to officially announce that HomefiresIII is going to happen on the first weekend of June (3-4). I'm going to keep the line up under wraps for a little bit, so watch this space for more info. You can expect the usual heady mix of amazing people you've wanted to see for ages and acts you didn't know that you loved, set in the incredible Conway Hall with top djs and nice food. Tickets are £20 per day and you can get them in the usual places. The Rough Trade Shop has only £1 booking/handling charge, and I'm trying to organise selling them at my Scala show - again will keep you up to date as soon as I know.
I'm very, very excited about this - as ever, the tickets are strictly limited, and some acts playing are far too big to be playing here, so getting your tickets early is highly recommended. The only bad thing about the last two Homefires was having to turn so many people away.
See you there.
